Donald Trump ate Jack Dorsey’s lunch today
Even Trump-supporters have wondered about Trump's tweets implying that MSNBC's Joe Scarborough had something to do with a young intern's death in his office when he was still a Florida congressman.
It's true that Scarborough and his co-host and wife Mika Brzezinksi have spent three years accusing Trump of treasonous collusion with the Russians, but Trump's venom still seemed strange.
I, however, don't think it was strange at all. Trump is one of the most calculating, rational people ever to occupy the White House.
So Trump set a trap. On Tuesday (5/26), the Twitter mouse took the bait.
THE MASK POLICE OF THE LEFT
There have been several great columns on the debate over mask-wearing in public. Scott McKay at American Spectator explains why the mask is essentially useless: The mask is not an adequate defense against the COVID-19 virus, gang.
The virus checks in at somewhere between 0.06 and 0.14 microns, meaning it’s too small for any commercially available mask to effectively filter it out. The pores on an N95 mask, which are the best masks you’re reasonably going to find, are 0.3 microns.
The vast, vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks but rather cloth masks, which perform far less well.
Over at Powerline, John Hinderaker writes about how “wearing face masks has become a cultural divide….On the left, mask wearing has become a basic marker of good citizenship, no matter how silly it may be…”
THE DETRITUS OF OBAMA

Each day that the Obama administration fades into the past, its wrongdoings manage to wander back into the present.
After years of suppression, all sorts of strange events keep popping up to remind us of what little is left of the Obama. The list is so overwhelming and bizarre that it ensures that anything at any time can now appear.
And the result keeps reminding Americans of how corrupt were the years between 2009 and 2017 and how untruthful was the coverage of such institutionalized wrongdoing. Let us recount all the detritus of the failed Obama Presidency.
ARE DEMS STUCK WITH JOE?
If I could feel sorry for anyone on Team Biden – and forget that! – it would be for his press secretary, who must feel like the guy with the shovel who walks behind the elephants at the circus.
Slow Joe’s most recent gaffe makes plain why he (a) can’t be permitted to speak in public without a script; (b) can’t be permitted to speak for more than four or five minutes, tops, and (c) can’t be interviewed by anyone who isn’t a toady throwing softballs.
But as we’ll see below, they may be stuck with him.
HEY, AMERICA – STOP WORRYING!!!
Good news! If you are under 65, in reasonably good health and do not have a vitamin D deficiency, you have only a tiny chance of dying from COVID-19.
And if you are younger than 34, your chances of dying from the virus are so small as to be almost statistically undetectable.
On the other hand, if you are 85 or older, are in a nursing home, have serious health problems and a vitamin D deficiency, you may be in real danger if you are exposed to the virus — but only a tiny portion of the population is in such a condition.
So, will we all please stop worrying now?

What you may not know is that one particular executive order of theirs has caused the death of hundreds, even thousands in their state – and for each one they can be criminally liable and sued personally.
We’ll start with New York’s Gov. Cuomo.

Sometimes, a good rant is all a writer can offer. Bear with me.
Last Friday morning (5/15), some 3,500 New Yorkers lined up at a Catholic church in Queens to receive free food hours before it even opened, according to the New York Police Department. Catholic Charities has reported a 200 percent increase in demand over the past month and a half.
By prolonging the coronavirus shutdown long after its core mission was accomplished, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio have plunged tens of thousands of New Yorkers into poverty.
It needs to end. Now.
