Everyone once in a while during life you discover something new and genuine that is truly a surprise. This week was just one of those experiences and I would like to share it with you. Amongst our TTPer midst is an entrepreneur who has an amazing company that enhances your personal safety and security. He will remain nameless unless he chooses to reveal his identity to us. Before I tell you more, here's the background.  When you log on to the Internet, you do so via an ISP, an Internet Service Provider, whose servers monitor and record all you do - every email, chat, Web page, everything. And if the police or Feds tell your ISP they need to see your record of your online activity, the ISP must provide it.  Nervous yet?  It gets worse.

After nine months of spending trillions of bailout dollars and failing to revive their economies, it has become clear that the political leadership in the world's major economic powers has been pursuing policies that can only result in failure. Worse, the leaders of the US, Japan, UK and EU seem to have little idea of what to do next.   Thus a prominent international financial expert has dubbed these powers "zombie governments." Yet the solutions to their problems are not rocket science and are well-known to thoughtful people:

As the HFR goes to press this Friday morning, a Kabuki drama is unfolding on the Honduran-Nicaraguan border.  Exiled former president Zelaya is reported by the Miami Herald to be in Esteli, Nicaragua trying to cross into Honduras.  Soldiers and opponents of Zelaya have gathered at the Las Manos Honduran border crossing, as well as a few Zelaya supporters. It so happens that I am familiar with the Honduran-Nicaraguan border, having crossed it several times surreptitiously with the Contras in the 80s.  This is rough country, and I can assure you Zelaya will not try this as I did, on foot through mountainous jungle.  He's not in shape and he's too big and fat for his people to carry. Thus his options are very limited and easy to stymie.  He is engaged in nothing more than a media stunt.  Zelaya is sinking fast -- even the left-wing Miami Herald admits it.  One person we have to thank for this is Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC). Yet who knew Senator Jim DeMint's real name is Arthur Wellesley? 

A person who wrote two autobiographies before he was 45 is no piker when it comes to extravagant self regard. Virtually all politicians exhibit some narcissistic traits.  But columnist Charles Krauthammer, a psychiatrist, asked last year: "Has there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his achievements?" "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist," writes Sam Vaknin, a psychologist who's written two books and numerous studies on narcissism.  "Narcissistic leaders are nefarious and their effects pernicious.  They are subtle, refined, socially adept, manipulative, possessed of thespian skills, and convincing. (They) lack empathy and are ruthless and relentless." Only after lengthy tests and personal interviews can a qualified mental health professional determine whether someone suffers from narcissistic personality disorder, Mr. Vaknin acknowledged.  But for his article - Barack Obama:  Narcissist or Merely Narciscisstic? - Mr. Vaknin constructed the kind of psychological profile the CIA commissions on foreign leaders.  And it should scare you to death.

Washingtonosis (n): A disease most often found in people working within three miles of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, although pockets also are found in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. It tends to infect elected officials, government bureaucrats, those working in the media, "government relations specialists," association executives and even top corporate executives. Symptoms include an overwhelming desire to associate and be seen with those in power or those perceived to have power and/or fame. Those infected tend to lose judgment, values, principles and sense of honesty as well as common sense. Last week, officials of the American Medical Association (AMA) revealed that they had caught the disease. They endorsed the House version of the health care bill even though it would reduce the incomes of many of their members, restrict their freedom to practice medicine as they think best and limit choices for their patients.

Late last month, Silvestre Reyes (D-TX), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, wrote to CIA Director Leon Panetta charging the CIA "concealed significant actions from the members of Congress, and misled members for a number of years from 2001 to this week." This was a supposed CIA plan to assassinate al Qaeda leaders, concealed from Congress by the express order of Vice President Dick Cheney - supposedly.  This story cannot end well for Democrats.  Few Americans are outraged the CIA contemplated killing our enemies during a time of war.  Further, the Democrat currently in the White House is doing precisely that right now with Predator drone missile attacks on al Qaeda and Taliban leaders in Pakistan.  So why was the Reyes letter written, then leaked to the press?  Because the Dems on the Intel Committee, particularly Mr. Reyes, really are dimwits.

It's been busy.  Non-stop travel for the past three weeks - driving 2,200 miles in California and Nevada alone - regarding my Achilles Heel Project (to be revealed at the Winning the Revolution Rendezvous in September). On the way, Rebel and I met a lot of wonderful people who love America.  I can't resist sharing with you an insight of one of them - a doctor who lives near Palm Springs, California. As a physician, he's very observant of changes in people's dimensions.  As a conservative he's noticed something about Mrs. Zero.  Based on it, he has devised a scientific formula with intriguing predictive value. He calls it the ACR, which stands for Ass Circumference Ratio.  The ACR predicts that Mrs. Zero's derriere will widen or narrow corresponding with how her husband's presidency is failing or succeeding. Notice how it's been expanding lately?  That's the ACR at work.  At the rate Mr. Zero's popularity ratings are heading towards the basement, it won't be long before Mrs. Zero will be a real porker.  Thanks for the tip, Doc.
