THE WAGES OF SCOTUS COWARDICE
Karma’s a *****, isn’t it, John? Right now, there’s a mob of pro-abortionists clogging up the street in front of Chief Justice John Roberts’ home in McLean, Virginia.
The same is happening at the homes of Justices Alito, Barrett, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Thomas. Not only is there a federal law making it a felony to protest outside the home of a federal judge — Title 18 of the U.S. Code, section 1507 – the Biden White House is publicly encouraging such “peaceful protests.”
This might be a good time for Clarence Thomas to give Roberts a call to remind him of the Chief Justice’s fateful words to his colleagues on December 10, 2020: “Are you going to be responsible for the rioting if we hear this case?”
The case in question at the time was Texas v Pennsylvania – the state of Texas suing the states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin for the unconstitutionality of their Electoral Votes pledged to Biden, as the Electors were selected by the governor, not the (GOP-majority) legislatures as clearly required by the Constitution.
Had SCOTUS heard the case, a majority would have had to rule for Texas, invalidating the EVs of the defendant states with Trump the victor. Instead, Roberts angrily commanded Gorsuch, ACB and Kavanaugh, “I will tell you how to vote” – which was to refuse to accept the case via a copout of Texas’ (and 18 other states’) “lack of standing.”
Thomas was appalled, looking right at Roberts and telling him, “This is the end of democracy, John.” Which it was, exactly the consequence of Roberts’ cowardice and that of the other three cowards who took his orders (only Alito and Thomas voted morally) in allowing the Presidency of the United States to be stolen and illegitimate.
So here we are – with all the lunacies in Branco’s carton above ragingly aflame and so many others: the Wages of SCOTUS Cowardice.
You might think schadenfreude would be appropriate to feel towards Roberts right now with all the demented woketards yelling in front of his home. Yet this is a moment of delicious irony. Because if SCOTUS capitulates to such a torrent of political anger and threats, the Court delegitimizes itself, just as it did to the presidency in December 2020.
SCOTUS will have succumbed the Rule of the Mob and abandoned the Rule of Law. Will now be the time when Roberts grows a spine? Will ACB, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh? Those three plus Alito and Thomas are a 5-4 majority decision.
On Saturday (5/07), Thomas said Supreme Court “Won’t Be Bullied” by Abortion Protests. Let’s hope enough of his colleagues understand they cannot afford not to be to preserve the legitimacy and integrity of our highest court.
Of course, as you and any rational American knows, the end of Roe just means the abortion issue just goes back to the states where it constitutionally belongs. The demonic fanaticism of the It’s-Okay-To-Murder-Your-Babies crowd is really difficult to comprehend. The Left really could be a Death Cult, its member wishing they had never been born — and if so, perhaps we should encourage them to abort themselves now and get life over with.
Their lives, not ours, and not the lives of the unborn. We’re the ones who want to live – they evidently don’t.
Odds are high now that they are going to be in grievous anguish when SCOTUS repeals Roe. Yet we should not laugh at their tears and sorrow. We should feel pity for them instead, for that is what the original Greek word for Christian compassion means: agape is a form of pity.
Pro-death/abortion people are truly pitiable, and are about to be in mourning. It is not our problem. It is our job to bring life back to America. Let’s hope that our Supreme Court will now do the same.
