Charlie’s warning is spot-on. His calling Tuesday’s (8/09) FBI Gestapo Raid on Mar-a-Lago “Operation Melania’s Closet” is satirical perfection. What in the world were Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray, the idiots who thought this up and ordered it, thinking?
The answer is, they weren’t – thinking, that is. They were afflicted with hubris, the crazed arrogance that caused the downfall of the central character of many a Greek tragedy. Drunk with believing they have a moral right to their fascist power, and enraged by fear it will be taken from them, they have literally lost their minds, their capacity to think straight.
And inspiringly so for the whole world to see. As The Babylon Bee reported: Trump Thanks FBI For Kicking Off His 2024 Reelection Campaign. And for ensuring his reelection.

It is the same crazed hubris that has caused all 50 Democrat Senators to lose about 50 IQ points each – albeit that Manchin and Sinema may also have received a Godfather Schumer offer they couldn’t refuse.
Everyone one of them knows this $700B pile of merde is an Inflation Expansion Act, not “reduction.” Just maybe they could have fooled enough lo-fo’s to vote for them in November for all the gimmies. But no… they have to engage in a pathological spasm of hubris and toss in $80 gigabucks to hire 87,000 new IRS agents who must “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force.”

The under Major Duties, it states applicant must be: “Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”

All 50 Democrat Senators, every single one, voted for this. All Republican Senators, every single one, voted against this (it took Vice President Kneepads to break the tie).
And, to make it crystal clear the Dems voted for the IRS to come after any middle class taxpayer or small business they choose with guns actually blazing, they unanimously rejected a GOP amendment limiting the use of these 87,000 new Gestapo agents to taxpayers earning over $200,000.
As Skye observed in his Links yesterday: “This is a major step in creating a terror police state since the tax laws are so complex any small business can be accused of failing to comply with some aspect of it.”
So, yes, Virginia, every Dem in the US Senate has become an idiot. Here’s what’s going to happen. HR5376 now goes to the House, which reconvenes today (8/12).
The Dems have only 220-211 majority now, as Brad Finstad (R-MN) was sworn in this morning. And they haven’t got much time with that, as Sarah Palin will win in Alaska next Tuesday (8/16), while Marc Molinaro and Joe Sempolinski will win their New York districts a week later (8/23).
Meaning, 12 days from now, Nancy will be down to 220-214. (Jackie Walorski, R-IN, tragically died in a car accident last week, 8/03, requiring a special election on Nov 8 with her district a solid R)
At this very moment, she is desperately twisting arms like mad, while Kevin McCarthy is having his every colleague explain to those with twisted arms that if they vote for 87,000 more IRS agents packing heat they can kiss their reelection goodbye in three months.
What are the chances that Nancy can force a winning vote on the exact same bill passed by the Senate without any changes whatever? That’s what she has to do, for even if she manages to get a bill passed with changes, then there are two different bills, a House and Senate version, which have to be reconciled by a joint committee negotiation – and then, the House and Senate have to vote on this committee agreed-upon again.
Well, this morning, she won a procedural vote 219-208 to open up debate on the bill, which is continuing as of this writing. Here’s a screenshot I took on C-Span a while ago – love Mike’s sign. (Note the chamber is almost empty as Pelosi lets Members vote by proxy now, something many consider unconstitutional).
This debate and process will likely continue past closing time for the HFR – yet whatever the outcome, it is highly likely to be suicidal for the Dems – more properly termed now the Democrat Fascist Party.
If their pile of legislative merde goes down in flames, voters will celebrate by voting GOP for protecting them from it – and if it passes, voters will in anger vote GOP as their only hope to stop further tyranny. Such are the wages of unbridled crazed hubris.
Update: There was no real debate nor ability to offer amendments, just a Pelosi-engineered “Motion to Concur”:
All 220 Dem Fascists voted Yea, all 211 Republicans voted Nay or didn’t vote when they saw not one single Dem decided to be a patriot instead of a fascist.

Now it will be the job of every GOPer running for the 469 offices this November (435 House/34 Senate) to rub this vote in their Dem opponent’s face – and to remind voters:

This is such a clear example of the do-or-die for our country importance that the GOP regain the House. It’s more important than the Senate because all federal appropriations must be constitutionally authorized by it. Meaning, if the Dem Fascist pile of merde passes, it can only last until the 118th Congress goes through appropriations next year.
At that time, the House can simply refuse to appropriate any further funding for the 87K IRS folk, nor for anything else like the billions in “green energy” handouts to woke enviros – or the EPA for that matter.
The key is to dispense with any gargantuan “omnibus” bills, and pass clean single purpose appropriation bills specifically, say, to fund – or rather slash funding – for the IRS that doesn’t have a dime of that $80B in merde money.
And prior to such passage, all those new thousands of IRS hires need to be told they won’t have a job soon – better start looking for another.
The same with the FBI, DOJ, EPA, and rest of the Deep State. As Barry Goldwater once declared, the purpose of conservatives in Congress should be to repeal laws and reduce spending, not pass and spend.
Now… I know what you’re thinking (to quote Clint Eastwood). What’s going to stop the GOP Congresscritters from wimping out and caving in like they have such a pathetic history of doing?

El Donaldo rules the GOP now. His endorsements are now an astounding 193-11 with Joe Kent winning in WA: Trump-Backed Candidates Sweep Board Day After FBI Raids Mar-A-Lago.
And he will even more so with his House majority in the 118th. All the good guys like Jim Jordan will be running the committees, he will be riding herd on what they do, especially Appropriations. He knows very well the only way to gut the Deep State is with that committee.
As he told CPAC in Dallas on Saturday (8/06): Donald Trump: Next President Must ‘Remove Rogue Bureaucrats and Root out the Deep State’.
Yes, it’s a long way to November 5, 2024. But he will declare, certainly shortly after the midterms if not before. All other candidates except nobodies will fuhgeddaboudit. He will be Large and In Charge of the GOP – and will have all next year and well into the next to see Appropriations does what they’re told.

Virtually the entire air squadron supporting the Black Sea Fleet has been wiped out. There were at least a dozen enormous blasts from either missiles or ammo depots that shattered windows in apartment buildings a mile away. Hardly anyone was killed, but this so terrified all the vacationing Russian beachgoers nearby they caused a 100km-long traffic jam fleeing Crimea.
Next to come will be the enormous fuel tank farms at Sevastopol fueling the Black Sea Fleet. Then the cables of the Kerch Strait Bridge, the only connection between Russia and Occupied Crimea. Hitting those main support cables will cause to bridge to collapse and block the Strait and this all sea traffic between the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

It is Putin’s hubris causing his humiliation, as he had it made – billions from oil and gas rolling in, no clouds on the horizon. But he has to go bananas over Ukraine not wanting to be his slave state. So now he, his historical legacy, his country and its economy are all irretrievably ruined – for generations if not for good.
Now the Democrats have gone bananas. They got away with stealing the presidency (and the Senate in Georgia), and all they had to do is not mess with the marvelous economy Trump had made. But no, they go fascist woke crazy with hubris instead.
In November, we have the opportunity to start tossing these AINO (Americans In Name Only) fascisti in the garbage can of history. Our country’s existence is at stake. It’s now or never.
