STOPPING WOKE

stop-wokeThis is the brainchild of America’s Governor, Ron DeSantis – to put an end to Woke Anti-White Racism in schools and businesses.

He announced his legislative proposal in mid-December, the Stop WOKE Act, the acronym standing for the Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees:

“In Florida we are taking a stand against the state-sanctioned racism that is critical race theory. We won’t allow Florida tax dollars to be spent teaching kids to hate our country or to hate each other. We also have a responsibility to ensure that parents have the means to vindicate their rights when it comes to enforcing state standards. Finally, we must protect Florida workers against the hostile work environment that is created when large corporations force their employees to endure CRT-inspired ‘training’ and indoctrination.”

The legislation was formally filed on January 11 as HB7 in the Florida House and SB148 in the Florida Senate and has now passed approval by the judiciary and education committees of both houses.  R’s control the House 78-40 and the Senate 24-15.  You can expect a floor vote next month and DeSantis signing it into law with appropriate fanfare.

Here is the full current text of HB7.  It enumerates what are now to be eight (8) “Unlawful Employment Practices” under Florida state law:

“Subjecting any individual, as a condition of employment, membership, certification, licensing, credentialing, or passing an examination, to training, instruction, or any other required activity that espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels such individual to believe any of the following concepts constitutes discrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin under this section.”

All eight are also to apply to any Florida public school K-20 or Florida College System institution:

“It shall constitute discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex under this section to subject any student or employee to training or instruction that espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels such student or employee to believe any of the following concepts:”

  1. Members of one race, color, sex, or national origin are morally superior to members of another race, color, sex, or national origin.
  2. An individual, by virtue of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.
  3. An individual’s moral character or status as either privileged or oppressed is necessarily determined by his or her race, color, sex, or national origin.
  4. Members of one race, color, sex, or national origin cannot and should not attempt to treat others without respect to race, color, sex, or national origin.
  5. An individual, by virtue of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin, bears responsibility for, or should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment because of, actions committed in the past by other members of the same race, color, sex, or national origin.
  6. An individual, by virtue of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin, should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment to achieve diversity, equity, or inclusion.
  7. An individual should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin.
  8. Such virtues as merit, excellence, hard work, fairness, neutrality, objectivity, and racial colorblindness are racist or sexist, or were created by members of a particular race, color, sex, or national origin to oppress members of another race, color, sex, or national origin.

This is driving woketards bat guano crazy as there is no mention of any specific race whatever – much less of the lunatic notion that there are only two racial divisions of humanity, white people and people of color.  Nor is there mention of any particular theory like CRT.

It’s the ultimate civil rights bill applying to everyone.  To argue against it is to take an explicitly pro-racist position, which is of course precisely what Wokeism is.  It will be very – very – hard for SCOTUS to rule it unconstitutional in at least a 5-4, likely 6-3 decision.

What needs to be done now is make this a national issue – by getting similar legislation passed into law in as many red states as possible.  Consider joining a Stop WOKE legislation movement in your state – or forming one yourself if there isn’t one yet.

This is how we rid our country of this criminal craziness.  All patriots should join together in Stopping Woke.
