A very appropriate location – which we’ll discuss after we talk about this verse of the song and the Pub debate last night (9/16):

Yes, what we saw last night was summer days coming to an end for The Donald.
Actually, they ended the day before on the deck of the USS Iowa in San Pedro. With the Iowa’s three massive 66-foot long Mark 7 naval guns above him, it was the perfect setting for him to deliver the “major national security speech” he promised to deliver.
It was a 13-minute long Nothingburger, no vision, no specifics, nothing but the same old “I’m great we’re going to make our country so great, I’m smart I’ll have smart people fix everything” blah-blah blustering buffoonery.
It was a total letdown for the crowd of some 800 Trumpistas on the ship who shuffled off in bewilderment. The letdown was followed by a takedown last night at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. And it was a woman, Carly Fiorina, who kicked Trump’s ass. With dignity, class, and bullseye incisiveness.
For anyone with a modicum of decency, last week (9/10) Trump proved himself the no-class pig he overtly is when he expressed his disgust of Carly’s appearance to a Rolling Stone reporter, who recorded:
“Trump’s expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. ‘Look at that face!’ he cries. ‘Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!’”
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal told CBS News: “I think it’s pretty outrageous for him to be attacking anybody’s appearance when he looks like he’s got a squirrel sitting on his head.”
Carly, however, responded not with ridicule but with this devastating campaign ad, which doesn’t even bother to mention Trump:

During the debate last night, Jake Tapper asked Carly to respond to Trump’s insult, and his later claim that he was only talking about her “persona” not her looks. Referring to a just-ended debate exchange between Trump and Bush, she said:
“You know, it’s interesting to me, Mr. Trump said that he heard Mr. Bush very clearly and what Mr. Bush said. I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said.”
Boom. That was it, debate over. As the audience exploded in applause, Trump with his tail between his legs, weakly responded, “I think you’re a beautiful woman.” She didn’t dignify this in any way, just ignored him. And so did most everyone else for the rest of the evening.
That was not, however, the defining moment of the debate. As a prelude to it, let me share an email I sent on Monday (9/14) to a friend who is a major GOP donor on his way to meeting with his fellow donors. I asked him to explain this to them:
1. The single reason for Trump’s popularity is the wholesale contempt for the totally gutless GOP leadership.
2. The only possible way for the GOP leadership to save themselves is to start resolutely standing up to Obama.
3. In foreign policy, this specifically means McConnell behaving like Reid and changing the filibuster rules to disallow a filibuster on the treasonous Iran deal, and have a straight majority vote to defund and defeat it.
4. In fiscal policy, this means Boehner passing a budget in October completely defunding Planned Parenthood, passed in the Senate and sent to Obama. When he vetoes it, the shutdown is Obama’s not the GOP’s.
That is, Obama will shutdown the government in order to enable Planned Parenthood to continue selling murdered baby body parts. The Obama Shutdown should be a political godsend to the GOP, and if the GOP leadership has neither the brains nor balls to take maximum advantage of this, they deserve all the contempt they have now.
My friend completely agreed, and is encouraging his fellow donors to tell Boehner-McConnell such action is necessary to save their political skins.
That’s the prelude to last night when CNN’s Dana Bash asked Ohio Gov. John Kasich this dishonest question (excuse the redundancy, for libtard jornos always ask dishonest questions to Pub politicians):
Bash: “Governor Kasich, Senator Cruz is so committed to stripping federal funds from Planned Parenthood that it could result in shutting down the federal government in just about two weeks. Do you agree with Senator Cruz’s tactic?”
Note how Bash assumes that such a shutdown would automatically be the GOP’s fault, not Zero’s – and that Kasich swallows the assumption hook, line & sinker:
Kasich: “The president of the United States is not going to sign this (PP-defunded budget), and all we’re going to do is shut the government down, and then later we’ll open it up, and the American people are going to shake their heads and say, ‘What’s the story with these Republicans?’ I’m sympathetic to the fact that we don’t want this organization to get funding, and the money ought to be reprogrammed for family planning in other organizations that don’t support this tactic. But I would not be for shutting the government down.”
Cruz responded:
“Well, let me tell you, Dana, number one, I’m proud to stand for life. These Planned Parenthood videos are horrifying. I would encourage every American to watch the videos. Seeing your Planned Parenthood officials callously, heartlessly bartering and selling the body parts of human beings, and then ask yourself, ‘Are these my values?’
These are horrifying. On these videos, Planned Parenthood also essentially confesses to multiple felonies. It is a felony with ten years’ jail term to sell the body parts of unborn children for profit. That’s what these videos show Planned Parenthood doing.
Absolutely we shouldn’t be sending $500 million of taxpayer money to funding an ongoing criminal enterprise, and I’ll tell you, the fact is that Republican leadership in both houses has begun this discussion by preemptively surrendering to Barack Obama and saying, ‘We’ll give in because Obama threatens a veto.’ We need to stop surrendering and start standing for our principles.”
Then Carly stepped up to the plate and hit a home run over the bleachers:
“As regards Planned Parenthood, anyone who has watched these videotapes, I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes.
Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, it’s heart beating, it’s legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.
This is about the character of our nation, and if we will not stand up and force President Obama to veto this bill, SHAME ON US.”
It brought the house down in thunderous applause, it was a moment to remember, and it will propel Carly Fiorina to front-runner status in the Pub race for the White House.
Now let’s talk about Dylan in Tel Aviv.
Carly prefaced her now-famous Planned Parenthood statement last night by saying she wanted to link PP with another “incredibly important” issue, that of Iran: “One has something to do with the defense of the security of this nation. The other has something to do with the defense of the character of this nation.”
She summarized her plan for dealing with Iran thus:
“On day one in the Oval Office, I will make two phone calls, the first to my good friend to Bibi Netanyahu to reassure him we will stand with the state of Israel.
The second, to the supreme leader, to tell him that unless and until he opens every military and every nuclear facility to real anytime, anywhere inspections by our people, not his, we, the United States of America, will make it as difficult as possible and move money around the global financial system.
We can do that, we don’t need anyone’s cooperation to do it. And every ally and every adversary we have in this world will know that the United States in America is back in the leadership business, which is how we must stand with our allies.”
At least she has a plan, which no one else on the debate stage had, except for Cruz’s promise to rip Zero’s Iran Deal “to shreds” if elected.
I am waiting, however, for one of the Pubs, including Carly, to propose the one and only solution for Iran: regime change.
Yet even if one of them did, it wouldn’t happen until 16 months from now at a minimum – providing its proposer got elected.
Which means Summer Days and Summer Nights Are Gone now in Tel Aviv. No more depending on Uncle Sam to come to Israel’s rescue. Israel’s very existence is now at stake due to the Moslem Anti-Semitic Traitor in the White House, and Israel has no choice but to save itself by whatever means necessary.
This may – may – be the silver lining to Zero’s treasonous sell-out of Israel to Iran. It could finally force Bibi to take the unilateral action that’s always been required. To replace military leaders too limp-wristed to do what’s necessary with those that aren’t. To conduct a Decapitation Strike on the Tehran regime.
With non-nuclear conventional warheads on cruise missiles and jet fighters, you take out the principal regime control centers – the Pasdaran, Basij, Al Quds HQs, the Majlis Parliament, the Presidential Palace and wherever Khameini is living, all main communication & control centers.
The goal is to broach the control the regime has over the populace for as long as possible, ideally for several weeks. It would have to be planned and conducted in utmost secrecy as any leak alerting Zero would be instantly relayed by him to Tehran. A diversion crisis of major magnitude would have to be implemented to misdirect Zero’s attention elsewhere.
Such a control breach would release the enormous pent-up anti-regime forces all over Iran — Azeris, Kurds, Ahwazis, Baluchis, and among Persians themselves.
A Decapitation Strike that broaches the regime’s control across an area as big as Alaska or almost 2½ times the size of Texas would do irreparable damage to those lines of control, thus disintegrating the regime.
In such an anarchic situation clearly there would be an opportunity for Israeli spec-ops teams to sabotage the nuke facilities, incapacitating the military threat to Israel or anyone else.
You don’t need full-on war with trained proxies in place on the ground. You need an anarchic situation of sufficient length to enable IDF spec-ops to fully sabotage Iran’s nuclear program. Ideally of course the goal is the full removal of the Mullah Regime from power, and creating some sort of democratic federation between the shards of Iran.
The ideal aside, the achievable goal of such an all-out (and non-nuclear) Decapitation Strike is to incapacitate Iran’s military threat to its neighbors, to Israel, to America, and the world.
Israel has to stand by itself now, take its fate in its own hands. Summer days are gone. The summer fling with Trump is over. The summer co-dependent romance of Israel with a neurotic boyfriend named Zero is over. Autumn is here, winter is coming, the survival of nations and peoples is at stake. It’s time to get very, very serious.
