I believe that within the next two to four years we will pass through the crisis tipping point of our current Howe & Strauss Fourth (generational) Turning. This is an existentially decisive crisis of information freedom versus centralized technofascist control. The First Amendment outcome of this struggle will be far more important than who wins the presidency and congress in 2024; any good political outcomes will be subject to cancellation in the next election without clear First Amendment wins.
Who wins in 2024, whether the elections are hopelessly corrupt or reasonably honest, whether another scamdemic is successfully implemented, and whether the green revolution to “save the climate” from fossil fuels sends most people back to the dark ages of serfdom is downstream of freedom of information on the internet.
Culture is downstream from information. Politics is downstream from information. Economics is downstream from information. The battle is joined and will become far more heated before the outcome is resolved. This is for all the marbles.
I believe that we are well into a battle that will be the 21st century equivalent of the WWII battle of Midway – not yet the beginning of the end, but rather that within the next few years, we will see the end of the beginning of a long war of attrition against the increasingly desperate – and decreasingly efficient – powers that be.
Fortunately for us freedom lovers, we have a very smart warrior on our side who happens to be the richest man in the world. While Elon Musk has his faults, as does Trump, he may have the values, smarts, motivation, and resources to precipitate a long turn change of direction. The Battle Of Twitter has begun! We are now living in a 21st century science fiction version of Atlas Shrugged. Coming to your real life…

In closing, it’s easy to understand how proof that the presidency was stolen from him has driven Trump around the bend. But this is very bad news for 2024, as we have a serious problem with Trump’s narcissism. I didn’t want to believe it, but there it is on Truth Social in Trump’s own shocking words.
Trump has just disqualified himself (I hope but doubt) from receiving any further conservative support; the 2020 election was indeed corrupt, but suspending the Constitution is not an acceptable solution. We already have a president who doesn’t think that he is bound by the Constitution, and we don’t need another one.
This (I hope) may be Trump’s Will Smith Slap moment – and he is attacking the Constitution, not just a stand up comedian who offended him. Trump has been pathetically nonconstructive in fixing the vote fraud problem. All he has done is whine and make the terrible suggestion that the Constitution should no longer be observed.
