Here is what Fed head Powell has to say. The very interesting part was his comment that the US is on an unsustainable fiscal path. This is true and important, of course, but I have never before seen the Fed dare to make such a comment. Unfortunately, both Trump and Xiden have pressured the Fed to repress interest rates.
