HALF-FULL REPORT 01/24/25
And what a Golden Family – there’s Tiffany. Eric, Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Barron, with First Lady Melania holding the Bibles (Trump’s and Lincoln’s). Class, beauty, masculinity, and patriotism are back in style. As is entrepreneurship and meritocracy, epitomized by Elon right behind the First Family.
What a moment, what a picture to treasure. There’s even the counterpoint of Joe and Kamala looking on in bitterness, knowing the woke lunacy they inflicted upon their country is in history’s grave as America returns to being Normal once again.
And forget the traditional focus point on a new presidency’s First 100 Days. This has been the First 100 Hours for the history books. Talk about shock, awe, and overwhelm. This has been a week – barely more than 100 hours since 12 Noon last Monday January 21 to this writing (6pm Friday January 24). It’s been beyond breathtaking. Why don’t we begin with Melania?

Has America ever had a First Lady of such elegance, dignified glamour, and sheer beauty than Melania? What a rhetorical question. And what a fashion statement. In contrast to her stunningly understated inaugural ensemble (the hat blew the fashion world away), her Inaugural Ball gown was simply OMG.
And it contained a message that did not escape notice. Turn it sideways and there it is: V for Victory!
As the London Daily Mail commented:
“Melania’s comeback gown made it clear that the FLOTUS was returning to the White House bigger and better than ever.
It was if she was saying, I have been here before, I know what I am doing and I am going to shine brighter than ever before – it’s Melania mark 2! And in that sentiment, the FLOTUS was also mirroring her husband’s own intentions to give the American public a reinvigorated new MAGA administration.”
There’s an interesting theory about Melania’s Inauguration Hat – so low on her head you couldn’t see her eyes. It’s designed and worn so she wouldn’t have to look at and have eye contact with those present whom she despised – most especially, Kamala, Jill Biden, and FJB himself.

Yesterday (1/23), famed talk show host Hugh Hewitt wrote for Fox News: President Trump Has Just Issued an Enormously Consequential Executive Order.
You wouldn’t guess so from the EO’s title — Ending Illegal Discrimination And Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity – but Hugh is right. Why?
Because it revokes Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 EO creating the entire monstrous racial quota regime known as Affirmative Action that has dominated government, corporations, and academia for the last 60 years. Now it’s gone with the stroke of a presidential pen. Wow.
One of his first and most contentious EOs was ending “birthright citizenship” for children of illegals. 22 blue state attorneys general are suing to get this revoked. A woke judge in Seattle has blocked it. The Dems have gone hysterical over this.
Yet the reasoning in the EO — Protecting The Meaning And Value Of American Citizenship – is sound.
“The Fourteenth Amendment states: ‘All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.’ The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof’.”
Among those not so subject are foreign tourists and illegal aliens. QED. SCOTUS here we come and at least five among them will agree.
Further, however citizenship is or is not granted to a child born in the US whose parents are illegal aliens – it is not thereby granted to the parents who remain illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country and must be deported. Arguably with their children unless a US citizen guardian provably capable of caring for them is provided.
I’m sure Tom Homan is well aware of this.

It was a cold but glorious day today (1/24) as thousands of pro-lifers gathered on the Washington Mall for the March For Life – especially happy that last evening (1/23), President Trump pardoned 23 pro-lifers disgustingly imprisoned for peaceful anti-abortion protests by Biden DOJ.

Trump Sparks Fear And Euphoria Among The Global Elite At Davos
That’s the headline of the London Telegraph yesterday (1/23) after he spoke by video at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He wasn’t there but totally dominated the meeting. You’re welcome to read the Telegraph’s account and POTUS’ speech here. Here’s what made me sit up straight:
“I’m going to ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to bring down the cost of oil… If the price came down, the Russia-Ukraine war would end immediately.”
This is exactly what President Reagan did to help win the Cold War. At a White House meeting with Saudi King Fahd in late 1985, Reagan got Fahd to crash oil prices – as given Russia’s oil extraction cost was so high and Saudi’s so low, Russia would be producing at a loss rather than any profit with a price crash and the Saudis would gain such additional market share they’d make more money than ever. It worked.
This is what Trump wants to do to Putin. Break Russia’s economy – which is a one-trick oil & gas pony, weakness and vulnerability in spades.
So gone this week are any headlines or stories anywhere saying as before that Trump was going to cave to Putin. My daydream has been, if I were Trump, to say, “Okay, Vlad, here’s the deal: get the hell out of Ukraine. You have two and only two choices: We can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. Which do you choose?”

That’s the bottom line for this extraordinary week, a week to remember. It’s such a thrilling start for our country’s return to normalcy, decency, and yes, greatness as a nation once again. Enjoy and savor this moment. And…. Despite obstacles and potholes along the way, it’s going to keep getting better from now on. America’s Golden Age really has begun.
