Who Knew That This Would Be National Boomerang Week?
The left tried to overwhelm Trump with fabricated evidence from a whistleblower at home while directing major international shade from Greta’s United Nations speech.
Both attempts failed. Biden, his son, Soros, Crowdstrike, and the DNC now have a Ukrainian server problem. Obama might have made a dirty deal with Putin before Russia’s invasion of that same Ukraine.
I spent the last two weeks working at a large chemical processing facility undergoing its annual maintenance and refitting outage. These events are called turnarounds in the industry and employ hundreds to thousands of skilled tradesmen sourced from around the country.
It was great fun to talk with the workers, to ask their opinions and gain their insight on national events.
The guys had a few things to say about Corey Booker’s tirade about the despicables. How dumb can the left be?

The Millennials and Their Ways
Unexpected problems can occur inside chemical reactors and other vessels and remain hidden from view until the turnaround. Fast response teams of specialists with fancy instruments stand by to hot-shot samples to labs and develop solutions.
Turnarounds are always exciting as the work moves from diagnostics to design to fabrication and implementation of engineering modifications as quickly as possible. Sleep is a luxury best put off until the plant returns to service.
There are few things in life more fulfilling than complete immersion into the work, to overcome complex obstacles through robust and ad-hoc and mission focused teams, and then to bring a facility back to life. Can-do-ism is a conservative view of life.
There is something very American about this. The ease with which ad-hoc teams of strangers self-organize to accomplish a goal and then disband is an amazing thing of existential beauty. It is deeply cultural and deeply American.
However, problem-solving methods are increasingly generational. Those educated before the formation of the Department of Education and widespread deployment of desktop computers use the Scientific Method almost exclusively. Those younger do not think in scientific terms.

The young hands virtue signal incessantly. For instance, referring to a skilled blue-collar mechanic such as a certified welder as a tradesman instead of a tradesperson will shut down a conversation. So too will calling that door thingy on the top of a chemical tank and secured with a ring of bolts a manhole instead of a hatch.
For the record, a manhole is a vessel entry opening on top; a hatch is on the side. The young hands are so offended by the gender-based language that they prefer to lose precision than offend each other. Such behavior is deeply un-American.
The behavior of the young hands is interesting because their worldview, their way of thinking, and culture of signaling is nearly the same as the behavior of the left. This week was full of examples.
As the days wore on, two teams began to emerge. The older people developed hypotheses from fundamental scientific principles and looked for contradictions to the hypothesis before designing systems. Their concern was proof through the hypothetico-deductive method. The Scientific Method.
The Data Culture
The second team was not interested in basic principles, experiments, testing, or even tests of concept. They relied on credible evidence gathered from the plant’s instrumentation logs.
The truth was not a concept nor reality. Only correlations between values identified through the plant’s information or PI software mattered to the second team. Information that was not within the database, the unknown unknowns, was of no concern.
Why does this matter? Because as the video presenter says, the person behind the computer and manipulating data is no longer just another person with an opinion. They are a power player.

Data is not reality. This is important to understand. It can represent reality, and it can represent spurious correlations or paint a very flawed picture based on what is missing.
From energy utilized by gold miners to global wind and heat patterns, databases and models are the ticket to power for an entire generation that is untrained and lacking confidence with reality.
Results
What were the results produced by the first team, call them team science, and the second team we shall call the team correlation?
The first team using the more laborious scientific method smashed the other team’s time to implementation. They did this by donning Scott Airpaks Here and other safety gear and climbing through manholes into hot work areas. They collected ground intelligence by observing and measuring the information that was opaque to the computer networks.
Not everything that matters can be measured and decided via computer systems. However, the new left believes that computer models are superior to reality. Data is their ticket to power and wealth. It is their ticket to central planning everything.
They are wrong.
Politics
Global warming, secret whistleblowers, Crowdstrike, Adam Schiff and continuing efforts to jinn up a recession are each and all based on the left’s belief that data is king and reality is flexible. Just like team correlation at the plant, the left is attempting to wield power through their use of big data.
Let’s look at this week’s events through their eyes. We must know an enemy to defeat that enemy.
Ask a United Nations leftist, a University provost, or a member of team correlation how to gain power and influence, and they are likely to give some version of their official canon:
Correlation creates religion; religion creates culture; culture creates politics; politics creates strategy; strategy creates regulations; regulations create power; power creates wealth.
The left’s all-in effort to replace the world’s great religions with the new cult of climate change is their big power play. We saw this play out at the United Nations.
Do they use science or the Scientific Method? No! They use correlations between silos of information within databases. Reality is not their goal. They invent reality by moving columns of numbers as necessary to align data to the objective.
Lack of Curiosity
The young hands at the plant turnaround believed that science is a process of accumulating information and connecting the dots to create a theory. Our government was obsessed with connecting dots after the attacks of 9-11-2001.
TTP readers know well that this isn’t science.
So what gives? And what relates the major news stories of the week to each other?
The new climate change religion, the Trump collusion farce, the CIA whistleblower, and Joe Biden’s problems rely on the same worldview that Team Correlation relied on at the plant site.
They were unable to solve problems in a structured way. Instead, they spent a lot of time around conference tables, drank a lot of coffee, crunched zillions of numbers, and ended up contributing very little value.
Just like the Democrats.

President Reagan picked up the phone and called Richard Feynman moments after the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in 1986. Reagan was a smart guy. He knew that he needed America’s greatest minds without skin in the game to discover why the spacecraft exploded.

A Little Trump
Remaking the world by connecting the dots within big data is the hope of the new central planners. However, they cannot withstand the scrutiny of why.
Why?
President Trump dominated the left all week. He made statements that forced an increasing number of Americans to ask why. Why is the left sending a child across the ocean to scold the United Nations? Why did Ukraine dismiss their case against George Soros at the same time they fired the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden?
And just why is Fox News stacking its board of directors with anti-Trumpers like Paul Ryan?
Is this what Q means each time that he says that the Hunter will become the Hunted?
Climate Change
Greta Thunberg sailed across the Atlantic to scold the United Nations. Here she is both scripted and unscripted.

The allegedly autistic child is the spokesperson for the new religion. Some spokesperson.
She is well-skilled as a presenter but appears unable to think. Does she understand why she is the spokesperson, why those that seek power by creating a global religion seek to create a singular global culture? Why is the new religion singularly designed to gain control of political systems and drive regulations? And why is it ethical to transfer the wealth of the entire planet from the producers to those that invent and manipulate data? Why?
What Needs to Be Done?
Climate change is not science. Americans do not kneel to the global warming elite.
Science is not a process of consensus. It is a process of testing hypotheses. Anthropomorphic climate change is not testable because we lack a spare planet to use as a control, and we lack meaningful data in both the present and past tense. The models lack the predictive ability claimed and have been in gross error for twenty years.

We need to ask Why? Why in increasing depth. The warmists do not respond to real-world information. Only data structured to fit the narrative.
They can’t answer why beyond capitalism and greed and something about the rich.
They have nothing after their script runs out.
That Pesky Adam Shiff Again
Watch the Adam Shiff smear before Congress in support of the so-called whistleblower. The whistleblower alleges that he heard from somebody else that Trump pressured the president of Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden’s business.

If a CIA plant placed by John Brennan disclosed classified information, then there will be hell to pay. However, the whistleblower claims to have heard the information from a friend of a friend. Hmmm.
The democrats did not figure on Trump releasing a transcript of the call with Ukraine.
In other words, the entire story is a fabrication.
But after a few whys, there are some emerging stories. First is the relationship between Hunter Biden and George Soros in Ukraine, Second is extortion against Ukraine by Joe Biden. Third are the activities of Crowdstrike, the Democrat Party’s social media propaganda arm in Ukraine and directed against the Trump campaign.
The big enchilada? At least two computer servers exist that perhaps contain evidence of a deal between Ukraine, Russia, and Obama for the United States to ignore Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in exchange for personal favors and political help to the benefit of Mr. Obama.
Never Trumpers like Paul Ryan, Romney, and Bill Kristol are all-in for Joe Biden. Paul Ryan appears to be using his new gig on the board of directors of Fox News to create the Joe Biden Network. This week’s revelation boomeranged on the never Trumpers and Democrats badly.
It might have opened the door to a treason investigation of Obama. If Obama bribed Ukraine with $1 Billion, then there might be a new President Orange Man.
Saudi Oil Refinery
More information about the attack on the oil refineries at Abqaiq and Khurais on September 14, 2019, is emerging.
Eighteen drones in a group called a drone swarm, and seven cruise missiles were used to attack the facilities. Several cruise missiles fell short or otherwise lost the ability to navigate and missed their targets. Perhaps their GPS guidance was jammed.
The drone swarm was directed visually from somewhere near the targets.
The regional defense included Patriot Missile batteries. They did not engage.
The 1,000-pound warheads on the cruise missiles did most of the damage while the drone swarm confused air defense radars. The attack succeeded because the drones maneuvered through the ground clutter and beneath the radar.
Drone swarms are a new threat, and their use has driven interest in Russian and French anti-aircraft guns capable of shooting down entire swarms.
Who benefits from the attacks? Those that want higher oil prices such as Russia and Iran sell anti-aircraft weapons like the Russian Pantsir gun/missile system benefit. So too the companies developing anti-drone laser weapons.
Any person or organization betting on a sudden oil price spike at that time likely made the big bucks. The oil futures markets should be scrutinized for Iranian or Russian profiteering.
Damage to the refinery was repaired using a quick response team of specialists from around the world. Facilities like these in Saudi Arabia use common components with other chemical plants. Large gears, tank and vessel repairs require the longest lead times, but the world is awash with facilities that can fabricate replacement equipment. Industrial scrap yards are cataloged much like automobile scrap yards enabling emergency replacement of damaged parts with used parts.
In other words, bombing a refinery causes a short term problem, not a long term problem.
Well, that’s it this week. This was a fascinating week where the left let loose with a domestic and international effort to overwhelm President Trump and command the narrative. They failed again. Bigly.
