OK – fun question: Who is this bag lady?
Amazingly, while looking like a bag lady, she’s the Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, 79 year-old DemFascist Rosa DeLauro, who has been representing the 3rd District of Connecticut since 1991.
That the 3rd CD’s voters have been stupid enough to do this for over 30 years is embarrassing to me, since Milford, the town my 9th g-grandfather Thomas Wheeler founded in 1639 is in her district. You can’t imagine what he would think today – probably he and his wife Joan would sail back to England. Oh, well – it’s all the Yale University-New Haven retards that keep electing her.
Anyway, it was this photo of her that Politco chose to feature in their charming report yesterday (8/25): Government Funding Talks Clouded By Manchin’s Energy Permitting Demands.
Yessiree, gather ‘round folks, the show’s about to begin. The US Gov’s Fiscal Year goes from Oct 1 to Sep 30, and sure enough, Rosa’s committee has its begging bowl out for another lunatic Continuing Resolution – and if that’s not passed by the Senate and House by 35 days from now, you know what happens. The dreaded, fearsome, mommy-I’m-scared scary…

Except, when DC had to shutdown last time “because of covid,” no one noticed and no one cared. But that’s another story.
Right now, Crazy Rosie is pulling out her purple-turquoise hair over Joe Manchin. You see, Schumer promised Joe all kinds of fossil fuel preferences for West Virginia to get his necessary vote for the Inflation Expansion Act – and now all the Dem hard-lefties are reneging.
So, Manchin Warns Democrats Not To Betray Him. He is demanding EPA regs that can delay the construction of energy infrastructure projects for years eliminated (which helps all the US not just WV), and the $6.6 billion to help restart the stalled West Virginia Mountain Valley pipeline he was promised would be included in the Inflation Act.
Or else…
“Manchin has demanded that the regulation cuts be included as part of a stopgap spending measure, which must pass by Sept. 30 to stave off a government shutdown. If he doesn’t get his way on this, he is quite happy to team up with Republicans and force a government shutdown until Democrats yield.
Like almost all Senate legislation, at least 60 senators must support advancing a bill before it can go to the floor for a simple majority vote.
If Manchin refuses to back a stopgap spending bill, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) will need to win the support of at least 11 Senate Republicans to stop the shutdown.”
Good luck on that, Chuck. A few Rinos at best – 11 is too high a hill to climb. Especially with mid-terms and many Dem seats at stake. Easy pickings for Senate Pubs to toss out funding for entire sections of the Inflation Act farce like $80B for 87K IRS gunmen. And much of that $400B in greenie “climate” stuff – while making sure Joe gets his stuff as long as he agrees with the cuts.
Lawdy, lawdy, this is going to be fun to watch.

Now about that greenie climate stuff. It’s truly important to understand that if all this goes through, a lot of people are going to freeze, starve and die – for real.
That is, $400 billion misallocated for energy (non) production will destabilize much of the entire US energy grid – which cannot operate on intermittent energy. The wind doesn’t blow all the time, the sun doesn’t shine every day. So you have to have fossil fuel energy production for back up, which greenies are determined to eliminate – or nuclear which greenie regulation prevents as well.
This will create an enormous instability problem in energy delivery especially in summer and winter. Which will be massively exacerbated by forcing folks to drive EVs. California is now the poster child for greenie idiocy in this regard, banning natural gas in new homes, and internal combustion cars by 2035.
This will obliterate electricity distribution to homes, for example. The grid now can handle only a handful of homes in any neighborhood block charging their EV all night. The whole grid has to be rebuilt to handle a lot or most all homes – and where’s that energy going to come from?
And forget fast charging at some former gas-now-charging station during the day. Besides taking orders of magnitude longer to charge rather than gas refill, fast charging is the best way to ruin your EV’s battery life. It’ll last only 2-3 years doing that, after which you sell your car for scrap as a new battery will cost more than the car.
So to keep your car for at least a dozen years, you have to overnight slow charge – but if most folks are doing the same where you live, there’s no electricity to do so. Another Greenie Catch-22.
These facts should be reminders of how the greenie climate agenda makes no economic sense whatever and is/will be enormously destructive to people’s lives – because it is a political agenda only as a replacement of Marxism as the Left’s rationale for fascist control of everyone’s life save for them.

Further, constitutional scholars are reinforcing Pelosi on this, noting that the recent West Virginia v EPA SCOTUS decision was made on the basis that Congress needs to provide clear authorization for unusual executive branch action.
You’ll see stories about how the Xiden White House was too incompetent or careless to know this. Nope. Xiden announced this $300 billion freebie at taxpayer expense knowing it didn’t stand a chance in federal court. Why?
Because Nov. 8 will come well before any decisive court decision. This is nothing more than a naked political vote-getting ploy – because the foundation of the Dem voting base is Gimmiecrats. But will it work? Maybe not…

Another focus point. Bidet’s panic moves like calling all Republicans what all Democrats are – fascists – and debt forgiveness bribes et al, are clear signs that the Dems don’t in fact have the mid-terms tucked into their cheat bag. They are freaking out in panic all over the place – which should give us justified hope that there really will be a Red Tsunami sweeping them out to sea on November 8.

Last night (8/25), the famous British rock group Duran Duran – recently voted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame – at the Madison Square Garden in New York filled to capacity with 18,000 fans, gave a concert dedicated to Ukraine and its struggle for life and freedom.
Many of the concert-goers were among those who celebrated Ukraine’s 31st Independence Day on Wednesday (8/24) in New York’s Central Park.

One reason Europe has lost its fear of the Russian Bully is the absolutely shocking revelation of Russia having a Potemkin military. Here’s a well-done presentation of why this is.
