HALF-FULL REPORT 07/19/24

Easy to believe an Act of Providence saved his life for the sake of America, isn’t it?  The slightest turn of the head at the very last fraction of a second was the difference between life and death by a few millimeters:

trump-in-crosshairs

Glenn Beaton expressed the consequence many have noticed:

“(At) the Convention, Trump seemed different. He seemed more calm, more at peace. Fire no longer spews from his mouth. Rather, a radiance shines from his eyes.  He’s becoming a leader. Not the “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!” type, although those were his words as his fists pounded the air when he rose from the stage floor last Saturday afternoon.

That was then, when he’d been cowardly ambushed by another messed-up product of our messed-up culture. Trump’s defiance and fight were the natural and right reaction.  But bravado now is unnecessary and unhelpful. Now, he knows he’s been tasked with something big, and so do the people. Now, he and they know that he’s fully capable of performing this task. Now, he and they know his orange head has a purpose more noble than being exploded by a bullet, and more graceful than spouting inflammatory rhetoric.

His old opponents in the Republican Party have gathered round him. He has the endorsement of virtually all of them and many who are new to the Party – from Silicon Valley moguls, to one of the world’s richest men, to each of his vanquished rivals, to an ever-increasing share of Black America, to most Hispanic Americans. What they see is what I see: A quiet confidence, an unexpected patience, a deep resolve to complete – or at least resume – a task much bigger than he.

Trump is no longer a man, you see, but a movement. A mission. We’re witnessing something historic.”

Many of the RNC Convention speeches were inspiring and remarkable, but even more so was Trump’s last night – 92 minutes straight of dragon energy, eloquent and profoundly moving.  Watch at your convenience the full video here, read the full transcript here.

But before we discuss where we go from here, there’s something I have to get off my chest.

There’s an old adage counseling, “Don’t let a conspiracy theory substitute for extreme incompetence.”  Except when the amount of incompetence and the sheer number of ways it was expressed leaves you little choice but to conclude the attempted hit on PDJT was an inside job.  If so, who was the mastermind?  You’re looking at her.

She’s the one who placed woketard Kimberly Cheatle as Secret Service Director, having bonded with her as part of the SS unit guarding Biden as Vice-President.  She’s the one who ordered the best SS A-Team not to guard Trump at the Butler Rally but to guard her when speaking in Pittsburg that day: Secret Service whistleblowers: Staff Shortages Caused by Jill Biden Likely Put Trump in Danger. Majority Of Trump Security Detail Were Not Secret Service.

She’s the one who told Cheatle not to authorize SS snipers on the roof Crooks was on, not to take Trump off the podium when a clear threat to him was apparent, and not to fire upon Crooks until he fired.

She is pathologically consumed with keeping Biden on the ticket so she can continue being First Lady. After Joe’s catastrophic debate and subsequent interviews made things far worse with dozens of top Dems calling for him to drop out, taking Trump out would, she figured, keep Joe in.

By Providence, that effort failed.  What’s her next move?  Taking out Kamala?  Don’t be surprised.  In the last few days, Schumer, Pelosi, Obama among many others have demanded Joe step down to his face.  The White House’s reaction at Jill’s direction: Team Biden Nukes Obama, Schumer, Pelosi: They Gave Us Trump in 2016!  She hates them all for giving the ’16 nomination to Hillary and not Joe.  She has a special hatred for Kamala.

In any regard, that’s the way I see it.  You are of course to make you own judgement.

Meanwhile, from Charlie Kirk in Milwaukee this morning:

kamala-not-ready

Sounds great, but TTPer Peter Tamburro offers this perspicacious caution:

“The worst thing Republicans can do is think this election is in the bag. The Dems are nowhere near done. Trump snatched the lollipop of the presidency right out of Hillary’s mouth. Never again will Dems take anything for granted. The are obsessed with pulling out all the stops.

The lawfare will continue. The lies and hoaxes will continue and/or they will create new ones. They will cheat. Illegals will vote, the dead will vote, fraudulent ballots will vote, proper ballots will be destroyed. Linked computers will  create results. They will ignore their state constitutions again. They won’t let Reps near the ballot counting.

They will throw every damn tactic they can at this process. I have someone close to me who is deep inside the Dem machine. Their ground game and training is far superior to the clueless Reps. We pride ourselves in having principles we are fighting for. The Dems are fighting for power–unbridled power–because they have no principles. And lest we forget the media…and the October surprise(s)…and, who knows?–another virus strain.”

Yet, they do have a steep hill to climb. Given this observation by Mark Zuckerberg:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XgWFwVRGcf4

And they have to climb that hill with somebody.  Here’s an 8-minute video issued today (7/19) with the arguments for Biden’s 8 Replacement Candidates: Kamala, Whitmer, Newsom, Illinois’ obese gov. Pritzker, Kentucky gov. Bashear, Maryland gov Wes Moore, Penn gov. Josh Shapiro, and Pete Buttigeig.  And the “surprise factor” Michelle Obama. Most of the 8 have no chance whatever, although some, like Shapiro or Moore (who’s also black) could be on the ticket as VP.

Kamala still has the inside track, but even if FJB somehow overrides Jill’s hysterical objection and steps out, to mollify her he won’t endorse his VP and give his delegates, he’ll make it an open convention.  At that point, with the slightest nod of her head in agreement, the nomination is Michelle’s.  That and only that will reignite the fire that’s currently died out in Dem bellies, with Peter’s prediction above coming true on steroids.

Frankly, our best bet is to have Jill keeping Joe in so he can go down in November’s flames.  Second would be Kamala’s heavy hitter backers like Hakeem and Clyburn ensure she gets the nod.  What’s interesting is, Dem delegates will vote for the nominee in a virtual online roll-call weeks before their convention.

This afternoon (7/19): Democrats Move Forward With Nominating Biden With A Virtual Roll Call.  The Chicago DNC Convention is Aug. 18-22, but the roll call will take place on Aug 1st.  It will take 1,976 delegate votes to secure the nomination and Joe has 3,900.

Less than two weeks – can Jill stonewall Joe’s quitting the race until then?  If he finally does sometime during the next two weeks, will Hakeem and Clyburn have delegates lined up for Kamala to shoe her in?

Bottom line here is that given this virtual roll call coming up so quickly means there may be no time or way to parachute Michelle in. Cross your fingers for that.  We really don’t, America really doesn’t want this shrew:

While I thoroughly enjoyed Trump’s entire speech, and parts of it made me cry, I must admit I was especially gratified over what he said about Russia and Ukraine:

“Under President Bush, Russia invaded Georgia. Under President Obama, Russia took Crimea. Under the current administration, Russia is after all of Ukraine. Under President Trump, Russia took nothing…. Our opponents inherited a world at peace and turned it into a planet of war. We’re in a planet of war. Look at that attack on Israel. Look at what’s happening with Ukraine. The cities are just bombed out. How can people live like that, where buildings, massive buildings are falling to the ground. It began to unravel with the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the worst humiliation in the history of our country… Emboldened by that disaster, Russia invaded Ukraine.”

Must have been so disappointing for the Putinista Conservatives to learn El Donaldo wants Russia out of Ukraine, to be on Ukraine’s side.

Meanwhile, the Economist reports (7/16): Russia’s Vast Stocks Of Soviet-Era Weaponry Are Running Out, as “the much-vaunted Russian offensive against Kharkiv in the north that started in May is fizzling out.” While on Monday (7/15): NATO Leaders Declare Ukraine’s Membership Is Irreversible.

Oh, this also: Russia Sentences Wall Street Journal Evan Gershkovich To 16 Years On Bogus Spying Charges.  He’s already spent a year in Putin’s Gulag.  You can bet that when Trump said, “And to the entire world, I tell you this, we want our hostages back — and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price,” he was speaking not just to Hamas but Putin.

It’s been an incredible week.  The last few days have been historic and emotionally both exhausting and exhilarating.

It’s a New Don, and a New Dawn for America.  Remember it’s only dawn’s early light.  November 5 is still a long way away.  We must all continue to “Fight! Fight! Fight!” every day now until the sun shines on our country again.

Okay, one last pic of last night:
