WHAT, THEN, IS TO BE OUR WAR?

When we enjoyed this back in 1984, and began to understand black criticisms of our dancing, we had no idea it would be prophecy. More people are waking up to the fact that the civil war is here, and it’s real. The Thing is under the boat, and it’s beginning to rise. If you aren’t woke to that reality yet, recent events should wake you. After that, we face a question that was old when Thyucididies chronicled it: what then is to be our war? Recent times offer us more than a few pointers. So do ancient times.

I’m going to touch on a few highlights, and offer some resources you can peruse now or later. There is hope. There is always hope. But genuine hope can only begin once you understand where you really stand.

They Hate You. They Really, Really Hate You.

I think most of you understand that the Left doesn’t just disagree, they hate you with a religious fervor. Their agenda in America is nothing less than full repeal of the Bill of Rights, with the 1st and 2nd Amendments under fierce attack.

So, too, is our system of democratic elections. As Daniel “Sultan Knish” Greenfield put it:

“How do civil wars happen?

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.

That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.”

Here we are. And dehumanizing the Left’s political opponents is becoming normalized, even as we watch suspicious death after suspicious death in the realm of politics.

Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey recently praised an article called “The Great Lesson of California in America’s New Civil War.” It has subtitles like “Life on the Other Side of Democratic One-Party Rule,” though it was careful not to mention the underlying mechanism:

And then we have DNC #2 Ellison reading the Antifa manual and proudly showing it off. While his entire party works to protect the use of America’s intelligence apparatus and Deep State to hijack an election. What does that say to you?

I know what it says to me. They want you and yours to be their serfs: 3rd class citizens without rights or remedies, subject to harassment, pogroms, or death squads at any time. They want you to be the new Jews, and that last bit about death squads wasn’t a throwaway.

The 21st century is going to be The Death Squad Century anyway, because technologies are giving smaller and smaller groups greater and greater destructive power.

But think more locally. The Clintons’ body count is quite large, and most of the hits were professional. Where did they get those resources? How? Also: why do you think Fast & Furious was trying to help the Sinaloa Cartel? Have you any idea how far they’ve spread?

Also: why is importing Muslims from war-torn countries, with no vetting, such a priority for the Democrats?

How could these things be useful down the road?

Do you believe in coincidences?

The Left didn’t get to 100 million skulls by accident. And collaboration with criminal elements as auxiliaries is a recurring institutional feature. Defector Arkady Shevchenko wrote about this feature of communism in the mid-1980s, before the Soviet collapse. Has Russia’s subsequent history refuted or validated his observations? Now think IRA in Ireland. Or Colombia’s FARC. Much of the Mexican Cartel War was triggered by the disruption of those relationships when the PRI lost power.  And Jack pointed out in a previous HFR that even China is no exception.

Could gangs be used for ethnic cleansing in the USA?

Trick question: they already have been. This recent reported firebombing in Boyle Heights isn’t an isolated incident. If you wanted to rap “Straight Outta Compton” today, you should do it en Espanol. Why? A big factor was a gang called Los Surenos. And note that the combined “Mexican Mafia” families approved of the Boyle Heights hit.

Liberty. Diversity. Security. Pick any 1 1/2.

None of this is politics as you imagined it to be. But it’s here.

This ain’t no party. This ain’t no disco (certain RINOs excepted). This ain’t no foolin’ around.

The End of the USA?

What’s changing in recent weeks is that mainstream sources are beginning to acknowledge what I’ve believed for a couple of years now: that the United States of America may well cease to exist as a single entity within my lifetime.

I began considering the possibility after I saw a newspaper article that political differences had become the biggest source of incompatibility for American dating services, surpassing race, religion, etc. It was a foundations-deep message that said “I can’t live with you any more.” And when contempt is the most reliable single predictor of marital divorce, with an accuracy rate over 90%… well, you see where this is going.

So does The Federalist, who ran an article called “It’s Time For The United States To Divorce Before Things Get Dangerous.” It’s hardly the first such article I’ve seen, but it arrived when the absolute incompatibility of the Clinton Archipelago and TrumpLand was becoming undeniable. It is increasingly obvious that we’re in the initial stages of a 4th Generation Warfare Civil War, so this idea is no longer beyond the fringes of general debate. A “velvet divorce” is a discussable option now. That changes things.

There’s just one small problem. I can’t see them ever being willing to let us go.

2a-hogg-something-offCultural Marxist Postmodern Leftism (CMPL, pron. “simple”) is a decentralized, fatwa-based religion that believes in conversion by the sword, and rejects truth at a deep philosophical level. Without truth or G-d, it relies on “the struggle” as a source of meaning and personal validation for its believers. Who are selected precisely for their personal unfitness and societal incompatibility, in a process known as Biological Leninism.

Understand what this means. It means there would always have to be an enemy, and the boundaries of CMPL’s reach and intrusion would always have to be pushed, even if socialism worked.

This element also explains many of the damaged personality types who are attracted to Leftism. Those personality types tighten and accelerate its murderous holiness spirals.

George Orwell may have said that disliking socialism because of its weirdos is like refusing to travel by train because you don’t like the ticket-taker’s face. He was wrong. The kind of people Leftism attracts is a very relevant political point when you’re talking about a religion of total control. With a history of mass murder. In a society where the most intimate intrusions are now possible via an infrastructure of techno-feudalism.

Still think the concept of people like this talking themselves into mass murder is far-fetched? All I can say is, you obviously don’t listen to them on Twitter.

They are deadly enemies. Don’t underestimate them. While it’s fun to attack their social status by miming about effete pajama-wearing soibois, they are enemies from within your own tradition. They can adapt, and their insane religion does not make them technically incapable (yet). Archidamus the Spartan understood this principle well, and you should, too:

“In a struggle with Peloponnesians and neighbours our strength is of the same character, and it is possible to move swiftly on the different points. But a struggle with a people who live in a distant land, who have also an extraordinary familiarity with the sea, and who are in the highest state of preparation in every other department; with wealth private and public, with ships, and horses, and heavy infantry, and a population such as no one other Hellenic place can equal, and lastly a number of tributary allies–what can justify us in rashly beginning such a struggle? wherein is our trust that we should rush on it unprepared? Is it in our ships? There we are inferior; while if we are to practise and become a match for them, time must intervene. Is it in our money? There we have a far greater deficiency. We neither have it in our treasury, nor are we ready to contribute it from our private funds. Confidence might possibly be felt in our superiority in heavy infantry and population, which will enable us to invade and devastate their lands. But the Athenians have plenty of other land in their empire, and can import what they want by sea. Again, if we are to attempt an insurrection of their allies, these will have to be supported with a fleet, most of them being islanders.

What then is to be our war? For unless we can either beat them at sea, or deprive them of the revenues which feed their navy, we shall meet with little but disaster.”

If one was to make a modern day assessment in the manner of Archidamus, one would be forced to say:

  • The Enemy owns the commanding heights of finance.
  • The Enemy owns the commanding height of technology. One branch, social media, has become our public square, our gateway to the legacy media (much of their online traffic at ABC et. al. comes via social media), AND a hugely powerful private surveillance mechanism.
  • They have zampolits (party enforcers) in every major corporate HR department who insert stukachi (snitches) throughout.
  • Government has been fully weaponized, with no significant consequences to date either locally or federally.
  • Political violence has become normalized.
  • With some bright exceptions, the “opposition” party leadership is somewhere between mob-controlled union bosses and Vichy collaborators. That is beginning to change. We will soon see how much.
  • The uniparty have imported millions of auxiliaries who can be weaponized, and who lack deep attachments to America’s culture or people.
  • The Bill of Rights, all of it, is under attack.
  • Our intelligence agencies are in open revolt, and are attempting to determine our elections.

Our side has significant strengths. Of people. Of geography. Of tradition, which still works slightly in our favor. Of an enemy that cannot help but be stupidly cruel. Even so, don’t kid yourself about our starting position. Too many conservatives do. We have one more asset, too. About that…

The Praetorian Trap

This Deep State coup attempt was temporarily stalled by the intervention of the US military, of which the NSA is a part.

That was a good act. Better still, when the Deep State interference failed, a free election produced a genuine nationalist leader. He understands how to fight, enjoys it, and is amazingly good at it.

But understand, too, what these events mean, no matter how all of this plays out.

We have seen the Praetorian Class enter politics as an active player in other countries. Does that ever go away? Even when the result isn’t its incorporation as part of the open ruling class, doesn’t the potential of a repeat hang like the Sword of Damocles ever-after? How often does that sword drop, as the Praetorian Class becomes involved again? How much impetus for such ambition exists when you have a multi-trillion dollar entity with dominating military power and panopticon-level surveillance as the prize?

Are we already past the point of hoping to restore The Republic? I think we are. I think Trump is everything I was enthused about back in the primaries, and more. But I think the reality is this: he is buying us time.

Even if Q is real, and The Plan comes off, Trump is just buying us time. Our posterity will depend on how we use it.

We’re a ways away from armed civil war, barring a Black Swan event like Trump’s assassination or an attempt at an armed coup. Keyboard warriors should contemplate the following SOCOM pyramid, and estimate where various factions are at right now. It’s a long way to the top, if you want to rock and roll…

And so we return to Archidamus’ question:

What, then, is to be our war?

I’m going to talk about that in future posts and Half-Full Reports. But we start here, in a foundation of reality. That is our lot here on Earth. But there is a larger reality, too. Beyond the hope we forge for ourselves, in sweat and effort and blood, we know that there is final victory in the hands of G-d above.

I leave you, therefore, with a question – and with a litany. To quote I-don’t-even-know-how-to-categorize-him pundit Vox Day:

Trump is not the answer.
Trump is not the salvation.
Trump is not the last and final hope.
Mistakes will be made.
Decisions will prove suboptimal.
Failure is likely. Disaster is possible.
The world is fallen and ruled by evil.
Republics and empires always fall.
Gideon only needed 300.
Jesus only needed 12.
Don’t be afraid.
This is just the first level.
There is always hope.

Good Shabbos.

“And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man…” (KJV 2 Kings 6:15-17)
